Yahoo! Answers: Fake or just stupid? Is the popularity of an answer any gauge of its truth?

It's a creative idea--peer-created solutions ranked by popularity--but some of the answers I've found here are just plain wrong. There is such a thing as objective truth; unfortunately, today there seems to be a widespread opinion that if you believe something strongly enough, that makes it true.
