Best way to connect LCD TV to PC?

You might have a VGA 15 pin port on your TV and your PC. That is the best way to connect it because it is straight forward. You just plug it in. There are a few bad things about this though. The first one is that if your TV or your computer does not have this port then it won't work. The other thing is that it doesn’t transfer sound so if you want to watch a DVD on your computer but you also want to watch it on your TV you have to use the built in speaker or you have to connect speakers or where headphones. Another thing is (this is specific to watching movies on your computer) that watching movies on your computer drains battery really fast because your computer constantly has to power the optical drive. When burning files to a CD from your computer it just powers it while it is doing that.
