On facebook, friends constantly appear and disappear off my friends list. Is this normal?

Facebook is weird, especially when they decided to change to the new Facebook from the old one. It's normal; Facebook is just like that now. When something like that happens to me I just sort of sigh, mostly because that's all that Facebook users can do about these problems. Sorry, I wish there was a better answer.
