Best first car for me.?

Acura Integra was my first car! It was very good to me! My choice would be that or the 97 Prelude! Good choice in body style! Those are the best if something goes wrong and they are super reliable. And if your wanting to hook them up its the cheaper options! Definitely those 2! Wish you the best of luck! I'd also look into a 97 or 98 nissan 240sx...by far my favorite car hands down! And rear wheel drive!
